"No easy fetus"

Films: Hideous! (1997)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of housecats.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Fetuses are often things that disgust us, mainly due to being humans very early in development. Like, "before there's even a brain" early. But that doesn't stop filmmakers from twisting them into monsters.

History: At the local waste treatment plant, you find some interesting things cleaning the place up. The biggest catch today is a mutated fetus, which apparently is now being pursued by people who seem to pay top dollar to keep this macabre memorabilia. However, while it is stored away by a kooky doctor, the fetus revives, and brings back several other mutated fetuses to life. The issue for them is that the doc locked up his entire castle, trapping man and beast together. Pretty soon, the monsters get caught in what can only be described as the weirdest child custody battle ever.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After killing several of the trapped people, the mutants are swatted into a pool of acid. However, it seems that some managed to hitch a ride out of there.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Due to being, well, babies, these grotesque monsters can be easily manipulated, with the possible exception of their leader. They also have a hard time moving due to limited effects. With that said, they are exactly what the title delivers on. Hideous!

Trivia: -One of the most common defects in developing fetuses are those related to the heart.

-The doctor from this film would inexplicably return in the sequel to "Demonic Toys", despite being killed in the end of this one.
